Welcome to FangBangers.com. This site was created in August 2007 as a fansite dedicated to the Sookie Stackhouse series authored by Charlaine Harris and the HBO TV show True Blood based on Mrs. Harris’ novels.

I picked up the first book in this series in 2002 and have been hooked ever since. That started a whole obsession with reading vampire and supernatural themed books, which reached into anime, and manga as well but I have still never found a series I likes as well as the Sookie Stackhouse series. When I found out they were going to make a TV series out of these books I followed it and ate up every bit of news I could find and eventually this site came to be. We have been through alot in the last three years, a site move, a hacking resulting in the loss of our first years content, and many volunteers but we hope to be around for the long haul as these books and TV show are released.
